ANCHOR NT 116 Wine & Distillers Yeast (1KG)

NT 116 is a robust, strong fermenting strain for the production of aromatic mashes.
This yeast is exported worldwide and used in fermentation of a big variety of wines and also for distilling.

FERMENTATION KINETICS
Very strong fermenter – cold fermentation is advised
Conversion factor: 0.58 – 0.63
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Cold Fermentation, no Heaters required in SA
Optimum temperature range: 12 -16°C (54 – 61°F) but can handle up to 28°C
Osmotolerance: 26°Balling / Brix (250g / Litre)
Alcohol tolerance: 16%
Foam production: low
